Ingredients:
- Potato medium size - 4(boiled)
- Tomato - 3 (peel and chopped into small pieces)
- Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
- Garlic cloves - 2(chopped)
- Ginger small piece (chopped)
- Green chili - 2
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Heeng (Asafoetida) - 1 pinch
- Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 1 glass
- Coriander leaves (chopped)
- Salt to taste.
How to Make:
- Firstly peel potatoes and mash it a bit.
- Heat oil in a pan on the medium heat, add cumin powder and onion in it and saute till light brown.
- Add whole green chili in it stir for 30 seconds and add tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and heeng into it.
- Cook it till soften, now pour mashed potatoes and all ingredients.
- Mix well and add 1 glass water and cook it for 10 minutes on the medium heat.(You could increase and decrease the amount of water).
- Put off the flame.
- Pour it in a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with paratha, rice and chapati (roti).
