Carrot Raita


Ingredients:

  • Curd  -  250 gm.
  • Carrot  -  3(grated)
  • Mint powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black salt
  • White salt
  • Red chili powder - as per your taste
  • Mustard seed  -  1 teaspoon
  • Mustard oil  -  1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) for garnish.

How to make:

  1. Boil the grated carrot till soften then let it cool.
  2. Press the carrots between the palm of your hand to squeeze out the water.
  3. Add all ingredients in curd without mustard seeds and oil. 
  4. Mix properly. 
  5. Heat oil in a tablespoon fry mustard seeds till brown, pour it over Raita and garnish with coriander leaves.

  Serve it
