Veg Rice


Ingredients:

  • Boiled basmati rice  -  2 bowl  
  • Green peas  -  1 cup  
  • Mushroom (chopped)  -  1 cup
  • Carrots (finely chopped)  -  2
  • Cauliflower (chopped)  -  1 cup
  • Green beans  -  1 cup
  • Capsicum (chopped)  -  1 cup
  • Onion (chopped)  -  1  
  • Garlic-Ginger paste  -  1 teaspoon
  • Green chili (chopped)  -  4
  • Turmeric powder  -  1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder  -  1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder  -  1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder  -  2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil  -  1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice  -  1 teaspoon

How to make:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. 
  2. Add mushroom, onion and fry till light brown .
  3. Add cumin powder, garlic paste,green chili and cook for 1 minute. 
  4. Add carrot, cauliflower, beans, peas, and cook until soften.
  5. Now add turmeric powder, chill powder, coriander powder, salt and rice and gently mix well.
  6. Cook it for 4 minutes and stir constantly.
  7. Now put off the flame and mix lemon juice properly. 

   Serve when warm for good taste.
