Shahi palak

                                        SHAHI  PALAK

INGREDIENTS :

Spinach - 500 g
Onion - 1 chopped
Tomato - 2 chopped
Garlic - 8 to 10 cloves
Ginger - 1 small piece
Green chilli paste - 1 teaspoon
Cream - 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Cornflour - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Water - 1 glass
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Salt ( to taste) 

HOW TO MAKE :

  • Firstly cut and wash the spinach and boil it.
  • Now take tomato, garlic, ginger and make paste of it.
  • Separate that boiled spinach from water and grind it coarsely.
  • Now take a pan, add oil in it and put fenugreek seed, mustard seeds and onion in it and  saute them until they turn light brown.Add that tomato paste in it and cook it until this paste starts leaving the oil.
  • Now add  corn flour in it and cook it for 1 minute, add chilli, asafoetida, salt, water and cook it until it starts boiling.
  • Now add that coarsely grinded spinach in it and cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  • Now whip the cream properly and add it  and cook for 2 min.
  • Now it is ready to serve. Serve it with chapati.
