                                      LOTUS ROOT


Ingredients:

3 medium sized boiled potatoes(chopped)

1 tablespoon oil

1 cup curd

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1  chopped onion

1 teaspoon green chilli paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

 1 teaspoon coriander powder

Salt (to taste )


How to make :

  • Firstly peel off the lotus root and chop them.
  • Take a pan add oil in it,now fry those chopped lotus root until they turn light brown,once they are done take them out.
  • Fry the chopped potatoes in the same manner until they turn light brown, now take them out.
  • Now fry those onions till light brown ,add the garlic and chilli paste in it.
  • Add turmeric powder,salt and curd in it and stir continously, now add  1 cup water in it.
  • Now add potatoes and lotus root in it and cook it for 4-5 minutes,and add coriander powder and mix properly.
  • Serve it with chapatti or prantha.
