KADHI
INGREDIENTS:
For kadhi
- 250g curd
- 1/2 tablespoon besan ( Gram flour)
- 2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 teaspoon garlic and ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2-3 red chilli
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt ( to taste)
For pakodi
- 1 tablespoon gram flour
- 1 teaspoon Wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed powder
- Oil ( to fry)
HOW TO MAKE :
* Mix curd, water, besan, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder in a mixer.
* Take oil in a pan and add fenugreek seeds, red chilli and chopped onion in it and cook them until they turn light brown.
* Now add garlic and ginger paste in it and cook until it turn light brown.
* Add that curd mixture in it and cook for 10 minutes in low flame and stir it continously.
* Take a bowl and mix besan, salt, cumin powder, wheat flour, red chilli powder with water and make a thick batter. * Now heat up a pan and add adequate quantity of oil to deep fry. * As oil heat enough, add a big spatula of prepared batter.
* Turn to fry from both the sides until it turn light brown. * Once the khadi is cooked properly add all these pakodi and garam masala in it, stir it for 1 minute and then put off the flame.
* Serve it with rice and roti.
